Д42

Diesel engines Д42 (ЧН30/38) with cylinder bore to piston stroke ratio 30/38 are 4-stroke, medium-speed, turbocharged, intercooled engines arranged in-line. These engines were specially developed for marine propulsion plants and satisfy the requirements for this type of engines.

Marinе engines ЧН30/38 with 4, 6, 8 cylinders arranged in-line (engine speed 360-750 rpm) can be used as main and auxiliary engines: to drive propeller, gear-box (gear-box included), reverse gear-box, a.c. and d.c. generator.

Environmental compatibility

Exhaust emissions meet the requirements of MARPOL 73/78 and IMO standards.
