Diesel-generator 4-36ÄÃ
To replace diesel engine Ê6S310DR (Czech production) in shunting locomotives of type ×ÌÝ3 diesel engine 8×Í26/26 has been developed and is produced for use in the diesel-generator 4-36ÄÃ.
Engine design allows to use the same traction generator ÒÄ802 and auxiliary equipment of the locomotive.
Coordinates of power take-off shafts for locomotive auxiliaries are the same on both engine ends.
Installation of diesel-generator 4-36Äà in locomotive of type ×ÌÝ3 requires minimum adaptations.
The advantage of diesel engine replacement has been confirmed by improved technical characteristics.
Replacement of diesel engines permits to reduce fuel and oil consumption, spare parts costs and labor input.
Examples of application
The first locomotive equipped with diesel-generator 4-36ÄÃ has been in service at depot Pechora since 1999.
A batch of diesel-generators 4-36Äà has been supplied to Uzbekistan for installation in locomotives of type ×ÌÝ3.
