Gas/diesel-generators 8GDG, 8GDG-N rated 1650 kW and created on the basis of diesel engines ChN26/26 are intended for generating electric and thermal power in power stations of all types, providing consumers with electric (3-phase a.c.) and thermal energy.

The main fuel is diesel fuel or rude oil. Using natural or associate gas is also permitted with pilot fuel (diesel fuel or rude oil) amounting to 12%-15%.

Power plants may be supplied as stationary or transportable modular plants.
