Diesel engine 7-6Ä49
Modern 4-cycle 8-cylinder diesel engine 7-6Ä49 (26/26) is intended for replacement of engines 3ÀÝ-6Ä49 whose service life has expired in shunting and industrial locomotives ÒÃÌ8 and ÒÃÌ6 operated in climatic conditions Ò2.
With the main locomotive parameters being the same (power, design speed and è tangential traction force) considerable improvement has been achieved in:
- fuel and oil consumption;
- harmful emissions;
- smoke ;
- overhaul intervals and maintenance costs.
Examples of application
Locomotives ÒÃÌ6 equipped with diesel engines 7-6Ä49 are in service on Russian railways, at industrial enterprises of the Russian Federation and CIS.
Replacement of the engine can be carried out directly on site as special complicated equipment and highly qualified personnel are not required to do the job.
Environmental compatibility
Installation of diesel engines 7-6Ä49 in locomotives ÒÃÌ8, ÒÃÌ6 provided considerable reduction of harmful emissions, sound pressure and smoke.
