Diesel-generator 3-26ДГ

For replacement of diesel engines 3-9ДГ Т2 whose service life has expired in diesel locomotives ТЭ114 (the locomotives are in service in tropic conditions) Kolomensky Zavod is developing 4-cycle 12-cylinder diesel engine based on the engine family Д49.

Installation of diesel-generator 3-26ДГ in locomotives ТЭ114 will permit to provide improvement of technical and economic parameters of the locomotive, reduction of load axle as well as harmful emissions, smoke, maintenance and repair costs, increase of overhaul intervals.
