Diesel-generator 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3)
Based on the family of unified diesel engines Ä49 diesel engine 16×Í26/26 has been developed and is produced for use as a component of diesel-generator 1À-9Äà (version 3) intended for replacement of power plants including obsolete 2-cycle diesel engines 10Ä100 installed in diesel locomotives 2ÒÝ10.
Operation of 56 locomotive sections (of type 2ÒÝ10) equipped with diesel-generators 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3) showed reduction of fuel consumption by 15,5% and of oil by a factor 1,9 to 2,8. Design solutions implemented in the diesel-generator 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3) allowed to provide compliance with modern requirements for harmful mission limits, smoke and sound pressure and to reduce maintenance and repair costs, to improve economical parameters and to increase overhaul intervals.
Period of recovering costs for major overhaul/reconditioning including installation of 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3) covers from 5 to 6 years maximum.
Examples of application
Installation of diesel-generators 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3) in locomotives of type 2ÒÝ10 during major overhaul/reconditioning is carried out by Ussuriysk Locomotive repair Plant. Locomotives 2ÒÝ10 equipped with diesel-generators 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3) are in service on Severnaya, Oktyabr’skaya, Moscovskaya, Gor’kovskaya, Pryvolzhskaya, Dal’nevostochnaya railways (Russia) and in Uzbekistan.
Environmental compatibility
Diesel-generator 1À-9ÄÃ (version 3) shows reduced smoke, harmful emissions and sound pressure complying with GÎSÒ Ð51249-99, GÎSÒ Ð51250-99.
