2000-2006



In 2000 PJSC “Kolomensky Zavod” started production of mobile modular power stations for various applications. These power stations are used as a source of main or auxiliary power supply for enterprises of oil and gas extraction industries in the far-off regions of Russia.

 

 

In 2002 specialists of “Kolomensky Zavod” developed and constructed passenger diesel locomotive ÒÝÏ70ÁÑ rated 4000 hp with power supply being provided for the train cars. The design of the locomotive ÒÝÏ70ÁÑ serveâ as the basis for creation of a unified locomotive family.

 

 

In December 4, 2003 the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirivitch Putin visited PJSC “Kolomensky Zavod”. During his visit Putin got acquainted with the company history and products as well as with its development dynamics for the last years.

He also held a meeting devoted to the development of transport industry in Russia.In his speech the head of the state stressed that one of the main tasks in the sphere of transport is its comprehensive re-equipment. He also pointed out the contribution of “Kolomensky Zavod” and a great role of its further achievements in implementing the strategy determined in the sphere of transport industry.

 

 

In 2004 a prototype 2-section freight locomotive 2ÒÝ70 rated 6000 kW was built. Its presentation took place in July, 14, 2004. The new locomotive is the first Russian freight locomotive comprising only home-made components. It was developed and built by Kolomensky Zavod during a short period of time.

 

 

New promising projects are being realized by the company in the sphere of diesel engines. A completely new fully automated diesel power plant intended for emergency power supply has been constructed. Works on developing power plants for the Navy have been resumed.

 

 

2005 marked the creation by the plant of a new passenger electric locomotive ÝÏ2Ê (d.c.) rated 4800 kW with design speed 160 km/h.

 

 

In 2006 construction of passenger diesel locomotive ÒÝÏ70Ó rated 3000 kW intended for replacement of locomotives ÒÝÏ70 started. Its main components are standard components for diesel locomotivesÒÝÏ70ÁÑ and 2ÒÝ70.
